Two more people are now in custody related to a theft at London's Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals were injured by a substance believed to be an irritant spray, as stated by police.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in the Lambeth area on suspicion of robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was detained on suspicion of conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals are still being held, authorities confirmed.

The arrests come after a probe into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the incident, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their suitcases after getting out of a car park lift.

A three-year-old girl was among the injured during the incident. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for treatment and have since been discharged.

Police detained a man in his thirties on suspicion of theft and assault near the scene. He has since been released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.

Police were alerted at approximately 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding a number of individuals injured by an irritating chemical believed to be an irritant spray.

The attack - which police said was a standalone incident and not being treated as terrorism - resulted in train delays and the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the T3 parking facility for a short time.
